SECOND FLOOR! WHAT'S THE BEST OF "HOMEGROWN" IN MICHIGAN?

Michigan offers a great climate for growing your own vegetables. Try growing some of your favorites this year and others next year.
Rotating plants is not only fun but it’s also a good way to keep the soil healthy and insects away, especially for in-ground planting beds.
You can plant from seed or select varieties from your local garden center.

– EASY-TO-GROW VEGGIES:
carrots, peas, lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, green beans… just to name a few!

Organic at a Bargain

If you grow it organically, it not only seems to taste better, but you can pick organic vegetables right from your back yard!

Plant an Edible Garden in Pots

New to gardening? Start small with plants on your patio. Mix up the plants to make your container garden beautiful and edible. Plant compact varieties of upright vegetables in the center (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant), and surround them with leafy greens (lettuces) as well as radishes, green onions, or baby cucumbers.
